Ole Yde asked us to create a store for him and we wanted to create a boutique like feeling that related to the clothing. Being a small store, we needed to be careful about using the volumes correctly. The façade is done in black lacquer and inside, different grays and gold. We used old painting techniques to create the gold textured walls & furniture. Through overall simple lines and volumes, we gave the store a modern minimalist feel. The textures and materials give an opulent feeling, as well as the custom made carpet using a printing technique.
